Het zoekend hert ° The searching deer openbaarde op zondag 23 mei om 23.00 uur (11 PM): ‘BOB, TILL WE DROP – A MIDNIGHT SPECIAL’. Stef Kamil Carlens and The Gates of Eden bewerkten 12 van de allerbeste songs van Bob Dylan op een feestelijke en eigen wijze. Het werd een stomend feest!
‘Bob, till we drop’ is uitgewerkt als een nachtelijke non-stop liveshow bij de 80ste verjaardag van de Amerikaanse singer-songwriter en Nobelprijswinnaar literatuur. De première van dit unieke project vond plaats op zondag 23 mei 2021 om 23.00 uur, vlak voor middernacht, op de valreep van Bobs verjaardag. Het programma blijft non-stop te herbekijken via deze website en andere kanalen.

Na alle schitterende commentaren en het alsmaar groeiende kijkersaantal op YouTube springen Staf Kamil Carlens en The Gates of Eden begin volgend jaar met ‘Bob, till we drop’ on stage. Het co-project van Het zoekend hert en de meesterlijke singer-songwriter hemzelve zal dus live in de zalen boppen. Minstens al op volgende data en plaatsen:

LIVE-SHOW ON VIDEO – ON THE 80TH BIRTHDAY OF BOB DYLAN
‘Bob, till we drop’ is a dynamic video-recording of a special live show by Stef Kamil Carlens and The Gates of Eden. The video was released on Sunday May 23 2021 at 11 pm (Brussels time) on the occasion of the 80th birthday of the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.
This project of Het zoekend hert ° The searching deer, house of philosophy in Antwerp Belgium, documents the talents, the love of life and the free spirits of both Bob Dylan and the European artist and swinging musician Stef Kamil Carlens.
The title of this project refers to the dynamic enthusiasm of all the participating musicians for the works and inspiring lifestyle of the great master. The baseline refers to the intriguing and hopeful folk song ‘The Midnight Special’. On Harry Belafonte’s recording of this song in 1961, the young Bob Dylan played harmonica.
For this live show Stef Kamil Carlens rearranged 12 of the superbest songs of Bob Dylan, maintaining the mystery and enforcing new, pure and hot emotions both in singing and playing. This is a true tribute to the celebrated master and to all the good spirits that have influenced this authentic artist. A dynamic symphony born out of deep respect and sympathy that can please all the fans and other lovers of music and engaging lyrics.
